This is one of my favourite salad recipe that is 35gms of protein and actually very delicious. Plus the spicy dressing take it to the next level. When i made this recipe for first time, my younger brother become fan of this. Because he goes to the gym and whenever he comes back from the gym, he looks for protein food. So this recipe of mine helps him in fulfilling his protein source. Now he has added this salad dish to his daily routine after coming from gym.
About Chickpea Salad
Chickpea salad is a delicious vegetarian and vegan substitute for classic tuna or chicken salad. It’s full of protein, fiber, and flavor, so it’s a satisfying, healthy meal or snack. And it’s super versatile and easy to make with your choice of ingredients. So let’s get started on making this yummy dish!
How to make Chickpea Salad?
Roasting Chickpeas
Firstly add 1tablespoon of oil in a hot pan. Then Add 100gms of boiled chickpeas and roast with cumin and satisfy.


For dressing
In a grinder add 50gms of Paneer, soaked kaju, 2 or 3 gloves of garlic, soaked red chilli, cumin powder, salt as per taste and also lemon together. Now Grind all of them and your spicy dressing is ready.


Preparation of Salad
Now chop some vegetables and then add them in a bowl. I am using Cucumber, Onions, tomato, cabbage, sweet corns and you can also add some olives. Now add your crispy chickpeas and then pour that spicy dressing. Now mix all the ingredients together and your chickpea salad is ready.


Serve
Now Serve and then enjoy this delicious protein salad.

100g Boiled Chickpeas

1 Onion (Chopped)
1 Tomato (Diced)
half cabbage
Sweet corn (boiled or steamed)
Cucumber (Chopped)
For dressing
50g curd/hung curd
50g Paneer
2 Soaked red chillies
few Soaked cashews
2-3 gloves garlic
Lemon
1/4 tsp cumin powder
salt as per taste
Water for consistency
Directions
- Roasting Chickpeas

Add curd or hung curd in a mixing bowl
Add 50gm paneer and soaked kaju
Add 2 gloves of garlic and soaked red chilli, cumin powder, salt as per taste, lemon juice and mix them all. - Prepare salad
Chop some vegies like onion, cucumber, tomato, cabage, sweet corn in a plate and Then add your crispy chickpeas.
Pour that spicy dressing and mix all the ingredients together. - Serve
Serve your ready chickpea salad and enjoy.
