Making pizza at home is always a good feeling. I still remember one of my best friend Sahil and I were coming home from college and we were very hungry so we thought of eating pizza. So we had a craving to eat pizza. We went to buy pizza but we did not have enough money to buy pizza. So I and Rahul decided to make pizza by ourself at home. Then we collected all ingredients and tried, but it didn’t turn out that well. But afterthat day we tried to make it several times and gradually we started getting better. In this blog i will tell you about how you can make perfect pizza.
About Pizza
Typically baked in a oven, pizza is an Italian food featuring a flat, leavened wheat crust topped with tomatoes, cheese, and a variety of other ingredients. Pizza is eaten by serving it in slices. It is originated in Italy but later popluar among all over the world. There are other ways to make it, so that you can cook it without the oven also. Today i will guide you to how you can make tasty delicous pizza without oven at home.
How to make pizza without oven
Preparation of Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Then mix it well with a spoon or whisk. Now oil begin to mix using your hand or spoon. Then Gradually add a few drops of water, until the dough is smooth and soft to the touch. Knead dough for around 5 to 7 minutes until it becomes soft and elastic.

Then Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and allow it to rest for 20 minutes. This resting period will help soften the dough, providing ease in rolling.

Preparation of Sauce
Put 1 tspn oil in a pan over medium heat. Then put some chopped garli in it and fry for a few seconds. Now put in some chopped garlic and fry for a few seconds until aromatic. Then add tomato puree and mix it well.

Now add tomato ketchup, salt, oregano, and chili flakes in this mixture and mix well. Then let it
simmer over low heat for about 5 to 7 minutes until it is thick in consistency.

Once done, turn off the burner and set the sauce aside.
Rolling & Cooking Base
Divide the rested dough into two halves. Then take one half and roll it into a circle of about 6 to 7 inches on a floured board. Now leave about 1/2 cm thick, not very thick, nor very thin. And Prick fork holes all over the base to avoid air bubbles while cooking.


Now put tawa on gas in a low flame and add a few drops of oil into the pan to grease. Then put in the rolled-out dough in the pan and let it cook for 2–3 minutes on low heat until the bottom has turned golden brown. Now flip the base then lightly cooked side will be facing upwards.
Assemble and Cooking
Now add our ready pizza sauce on pizza base and spread out evenly over the lightly grilled side. Now top up the sauce generously with grated mozzarella cheese. Then spread the sliced bell peppers, onions and mushrooms (you can also add your favorite vegies or paneer). add touch of oregano and chili flakes to taste.


Now Cover the pan with a lid to keep the heat, and allow the cheese to melt. Then cook for 5 to 7 minutes on low heat until the bottom is nice and crispy. When the cheese is melted and the crust is ready, remove from the heat.

Your tasty yummy cheesy pizza chizza is now ready for service and eat.
Serve
Put this hot cheesy pizza in a plate and cut them into 6 to 8 slices with a knife or pizza cutter.
Serve hot with some more oregano and chili flakes or garlic dip on the side. yumm…. try it and enjoy it… 🙂

1 cup warm water
half tspn sugar
2.5 cups all-purpose flour
half tspn salt
2 tspn oil
1 Baking powder
1 Baking sodaFor the sauce
1 tomato or tomato puree
1 tspn dried oregano
1 tspn dried basil
half tspn garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tspn oil (any neutral oil)For the toppings
Half cup Mozzarella cheese
1/2 Bell pepper (sliced)
1/2 Onion (sliced)
1/2 Capsicum (sliced)
1/2 mushrooms(sliced)
Directions
- Prepare Dough
In a bowl, combine flour, oil, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
Mix to form a dough and knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Cover it with a towel and allow it to rise for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size. - Prepare the Sauce
Heat the oil on medium Flame.
Add garlic(choped) in a pan and saute for 30seconds.
Add tomato puree, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, set aside to cool. - Cooking
Roll out the pizza dough to fit in your pan.
Add the dough into the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
Flip over the dough, Spread pizza sauce, onions, mashrooms, bell pepper, then sprinkle with cheese, and add toppings.
Cover with a lid and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese melts and the bottom is crispy. - Serve
Cut it into slices and serve. Enjoy 🙂
